We recommend at least once a week to keep your yard clean and odor-free. Ideally, twice a week is best for maintaining a fresh and sanitary outdoor space, especially if you have multiple dogs. Regular service helps prevent bacteria buildup and keeps your yard safe for pets and family.

Yes, Happy to Scoop provides dog waste cleanup services year-round, including during peak summer and rainy conditions. We do close for major holidays and seasonally between Christmas Eve and New Years day.

No, but please unlock gates, clear pathways, and remove excessive debris. You’ll receive an "on the way" notification 30–60 minutes before arrival. If we can’t access your yard, we’ll try to contact you. If there’s no immediate response, service will be skipped, charges will apply, and we’ll do a double cleanup next time.

Our routes are optimized each evening to keep your service efficient and affordable. While we don’t offer exact arrival windows, you’ll receive a text notification 30–60 minutes before we arrive.

To keep your service consistent and on time, we assign cleanup days based on optimized routes in your area. This helps us serve you more efficiently and reliably each week. Thank you for your understanding!

We double-bag the waste and place it in your trash can. If your bin is full or unavailable, we’ll leave the bag neatly on the side of your house.

Unless otherwise specified, we will clean the entire backyard during each visit. If you’d like us to include front or side yards, or if there are any areas you don’t want cleaned, just let us know.

At Happy to Scoop, client and pet safety are our top priorities. We use a kennel-grade disinfectant to disinfect equipment and shoes between each yard to prevent germ spread, and we provide gate photos after each visit to ensure your pets remain secure.

For safety, we require all dogs to be secured during service. This ensures a smooth visit and protects your pet while we clean and sanitize. We also recommend keeping pets off treated areas until dry (about 10–15 minutes). If a dog is loose or shows aggression, we may skip service or remove the property from our route.
